Am ready to organise it here since our men here are not ready ( not insulting my husbands but am just tired of everyday news it's ndiigbo killed)
BREAKING IGBOVILLE NEWS
We are moving into full crisis mode to help our people as much as possible.
A team has been raised to actualize the brilliant idea from Chinenye for a demonstration in London on 13th of January to draw international attention to what is happening in Northern Nigeria. They will brief us as soon as they are through with planning and provide phone number, address and FB page for mobilization.
A Washington demostration is also a possibility and the details are being fleshed out.
Having received reports of an adverse emergency situation relating to movement of our people away from the hot spots, we want to immediately appeal to members to consider posting the below on their FB threads. We are also mandating the finance committee to see if there is any relief we can provide to those stranded in parks in Yola, Maiduguri etc. Those who have chosen to leave Northern Nigeria are encouraged to do so while those who want to stay should feel free to do so.
We welcome suggestions on how to manage this situation.
This is the message and you can amend as deemed necessary:
"Please do whatever you can to help Igbos fleeing the carnage in the North. If you have space in your personal vehicle, take one more child, woman or man. If you are from the hot spots, protect your fellow countrymen from terrorists. Know that terrorists are never satisfied. They might come for you next. If you are a security agent, protect lives and properties. If you can't leave, defend yourself and family."- Igboville
Thank you.
Grassroot Mobilization Team.
London Demonstration against killing of Igbos in Northern Nigeria
Following the brilliant suggestion made by one of our members on the need to let the whole world know about the unreported genocide going on in Nigeria, we assembled a team to look into the actualization of the march. They have done a wonderful job and we are good to go.

We have received reports that they are now going house to house in Maiduguri. This is an emergency and all hands must be on deck to save Ndigbo from annihilation and extinction.
ACT NOW OR HAVE BLOOD IN YOUR HANDS AND CONSCIENCE!
Let us uplift UK-based Igbovillers and our other brothers and sister who are about to move into the streets of London to protest over the use of Ndigbo as sacrificial lambs in Northern Nigeria. They are booked to deliver our protest letter to the British Prime Minister. Let us pray that the Holy Spirit will cause the PM himself, not just his subordinate, to read that letter. Let us pray that God will will cover our people and lead them back home safely after this date with history. Amen
Today at 12.30pm (UK Time) Igboville's Great Six will be meeting the British Prime Minister, David Cameron, to deliver a petition demanding an end to the genocide against Igbos.
Members of Igboville Great Six include:
1. Dr Chin Akano
2. Iyk Jp Igwe
3. Amechi Benson Ugwu
4. Chinenye Onoh
5. Jude Chidiebere Anago
6. Ejike Emmanuel Ikezuagu
While others will be drumming and drawing attention of the public to the plight of Igbos of Nigeria, the Great Six will enter the Prime Minister's office, deliver the petition and grant interview to the media on what is happening in Nigeria.
The petition they are carrying to 10 Downing Street was actually made in America by Onyema Uche and Obichi Ikechi. Home based Igbovillers aka okuku Igbo reviewed and aligned the document to policy and forwarded to London.
In about a month, two of the best Igboville ideas/projects have come from our female members. The Afikpo retreat was not only suggested by Afikpo Chic, she also bankrolled it to a reasonable extent. Chinenye Ufearoh-onoh did not only suggest the London Protest she is also contributing to it's funding. It appears that women of Igboville lead the way in progressive ideas while some of the men lead the Iko Onu and Nfirionu Association of Igboville.
Ejike Ikezuagu and J Duke Anago were not online when the idea was mooted. But once they heard, they demanded to be part of it and contribute to its success. The drums and television coverage were arranged by Ejike with very short notice. Duke manufactured leaflets and hand bills including placards with images of Boko Haram victims within 24 hours at ZERO cost to Igboville. Amechi Benson Ugwu produced the banners and was "harassing" the British Police to ensure there is permission for the march. Great people!
When this idea was mooted, we went in box to discuss and plan. The police needed at least one week notice to grant permit. PM's office also need 6 days to schedule a visit. And the visitors must all be security checked and cleared. Larry Iloh swung into action to inform police via phone while Iyk JP Igwe hit the PM's office. From that moment it was a race against time as we couldn't afford to abort. These great men of Ala Igbo beat British time in record style. And then it was time to submit names of petitioners. Only "clean" guys with no record whatsoever and whose stay in UK are legal can endorse the document and meet the PM. Ndigbo nwere mmadu. In less than 20 minutes of online meeting the 6 names above emerged and submitted relevant info to the British Government. Sincerely, I felt tears at that moment. The implication is simply that these 6 Igbo children have never committed any crime in UK and have lived decently.
All these were happening while some people were abusing themselves at Igboville. We were interrupted severally to move to the main site and settle quarrels between male members of Iko Onu Club of Igboville.
At some point the budget appeared. We must have £900 or abort. There were strong suggestions for the march to be postponed to a later date. We were ready to succumb until the founder, Emeka Maduewesi, lead from the front row and donated some convertible dollars. Ireland based Eresi Grace Okoh followed his lead. By the time Afikpo Chic chipped in her donation, the ladies have once more rescued Igbo ville. Then came Igboville number 1 Doctor, Chin Akano, with a heavy donation. At that point, we reached a point of no return and money started flying about in 100s and 50s. Emeka Chuks Obinnwa, Larry Iloh, Iyk JP Igwe, JOK, Ejike, Amechi etc all made pledges. Vyso Elvis Nwachukwu announced he's already transferred his pledge. Chiamaka Sophy Prince Maduka also chipped in and also volunteered her camcorder. But the cash was needed immediately. Transfers can't be made from Nigeria because of the strike. It will take time for transfers to be made from Ireland and US as those involved were at work then. Whence cometh the cash for immediate orders to be made? Dr Chin offered to bankroll and recover later. That saved the march.
Gossip dey hungry una? You want to know between Okuku Igbo (Nigeria), UK members and Obama people who donated more? I will tell you later. But naturally Niger no dey carry last. Moreover even the open call for assistance was only answered by a member of the Okuku Igbo group, Hon Nelda Chioma. All others conveniently left Igboville as usual and re-appeared when they saw our post indicating we were ready and good to go. Typically, the most vocal at Igboville go dumb when money is mentioned or there is something to do. But ordinarily they will be the first to propose this and that or suggest we contribute this and that. May God touch their hearts and change them in Jesus name.
Emma Maduabuchi represented the media in the committee and he is anchoring the publicity for the event while Okafor Udoka is representing grassroot mobilization in UK during the march. He will also convene the meeting that will set up the most powerful branch of Igboville, for now. South Africa, Finland, USA and Holland branches will likely be on stream before April 2012.
Grassroot Mobilization will shut down Igboville from new posts and create "March to Save Igbo Lives" thread that will capture events in real time as they happen in London. That will include video and pictures as they are received. At the end of the event, we will provide another report and also give you the juicy details from the grapevine. All we need from you now is to post the march notice on your FB wall and also call your friends and family in London to ask them to participate. By doing that, you have made as much contribution as those in box.
We will leave you with a short quiz. Who is the official spokesman for Igboville at the Prime Minister's office and who is the official media contact person in London? First correct answer will win N5k recharge card.
Igboville.....Onye aghana nwanneya!
DUBLI, IRELAND
Protest against Killing of Igbos in the North also took place in Dublin, Ireland yesterday as we took advantage of Occupy Nigeria protest that was secretly organised by Yoruba youths. Trust our smart move, our placard was more pronounced. We owe so much to Eresi Grace Okoh for her quick thinking and mobilising her friends at the rally which passed off peacefully. — with David S Nwaeje and Chidozie Obinnwa in Dublin, Ireland.
